The age-sex pyramid illustrates the change in population in the project site over time. The wide base means that there is a high birth rate, while the steeply narrow tip, means that there is a high death rate within the age group. It also shows that there is a large working-age population (15-64 years old).

This group consists of 2,330 individuals, and is equivalent to 65% of the total population. The young dependents population (0-14 years old) comprises 1,195 individuals, and is equivalent to 33.25% of the total population, while the elderly dependents (65 years old and above) account for 69 individuals, which is equivalent to 1.92% of the total population. The mean age is 25 years old, and the maximum age is 96 years old.
